Skydrifters — Privacy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled in connection with the Skydrifters game and communications with its developer. It applies to the current version of the game, in which advertising, player accounts, and Cloud Save synchronization are not enabled.

1. Data Controller and Contact Details

The data controller is Michał Pyjas, a sole trader operating under the registered business name MICHAŁ PYJAS and using the TailorSailor brand.

MICHAŁ PYJAS
ul. Wrzosowa 29/5
44-335 Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Poland
Email: support@tailorsailor.com
Website: tailorsailor.com

You may use the email address above to contact us with privacy-related questions or to exercise your rights in relation to your personal data.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The game stores certain information locally on your device in order to preserve gameplay progress and settings. This may include:

  • scores, records, and gameplay statistics;
  • the number of coins and particles;
  • unlocked and selected ships;
  • upgrades, upgrade levels, and completion times;
  • challenge progress, crates, and rewards;
  • owned boosts and their remaining duration;
  • graphics, audio, control, and vibration settings.

The current version of the game does not provide player accounts or our own cloud-based synchronization service for transferring save data between devices. However, application data may be included in operating system backups depending on your device settings and the services associated with your device account.

3. Support and Communications

If you contact us, we may process your email address, the information contained in your message, and any attachments you voluntarily provide, such as screenshots or bug reports. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, investigate or resolve reported issues, and manage our correspondence with you.

Providing information in a support request is voluntary. However, without sufficient contact information, we may be unable to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or information that is unrelated to your inquiry.

4. Unity Technical Diagnostics

Skydrifters was developed using the Unity engine. Technical diagnostics are enabled in the project configuration. Depending on the active Unity service configuration, diagnostic features may transmit information relating to errors, crashes, application performance, and a unique installation identifier to Unity.

This diagnostic information is used to identify technical issues, improve application stability, and help ensure that the game operates correctly. Unity Diagnostics is not used as a cloud save service for gameplay progress.

In connection with the Diagnostics service, Unity may process data on behalf of the data controller. Further information about Unity’s privacy practices and developer data services is available here:

5. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

Where we process personal data, we rely on the applicable legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

  • responding to inquiries and support requests, and maintaining the stability and security of the game — our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • complying with legal obligations, including handling requests relating to data protection rights — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
  • establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims where necessary — our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We rely on legitimate interests only where those interests are not overridden by your interests, fundamental rights, or freedoms. Where a particular type of processing requires your consent, we will obtain that consent before the processing begins.

6. Advertising and Future Features

The current version of Skydrifters does not display advertising and does not use AppLovin MAX to serve ads. The presence of advertising placeholders or advertising-related elements in the user interface does not mean that advertising services are currently active.

Before enabling advertising, player accounts, cloud save synchronization, or additional analytics services, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe the relevant purposes, categories of data, and service providers. Where required, we will also provide appropriate consent and privacy preference mechanisms.

7. Recipients of Personal Data and International Transfers

Personal data may be processed by service providers that support our communications and technical infrastructure, as well as by Unity in connection with the diagnostic services described above. Personal data may also be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by applicable law.

Where the use of a service provider involves transferring personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers will take place only where an appropriate legal mechanism under the GDPR is available. This may include an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses together with any additional safeguards required in the circumstances. Information about the safeguards applicable to your personal data may be requested by contacting the data controller.

App stores, operating system providers, and other platform operators may also process personal data independently in connection with their own services and in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

  • Locally stored game data remains on the device until it is deleted. System backups may retain copies of application data in accordance with the user’s settings and the policies of the relevant backup provider.
  • We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and related communications. We may retain information for a longer period where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • According to Unity documentation, the default retention period for personal data processed through Diagnostics is 90 days. The applicable retention period must correspond to the actual Unity service configuration used by the game.

9. Deleting Your Data

On Android devices, locally stored game progress can be deleted by clearing the application’s data through the device settings. Uninstalling the game will generally remove locally stored data, although it may not remove copies retained by an operating system backup service.

Deleting game data may permanently remove your progress, unlocked ships, upgrades, and other in-game resources.

To request deletion of personal data contained in support correspondence or diagnostic records, contact us at support@tailorsailor.com . We may ask you to provide information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant support request or installation and to verify that you are entitled to make the request. We will never ask you to provide your password.

10. Your Data Protection Rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations set out in the GDPR, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and restrict its processing. You may also have the right to data portability where the statutory requirements for that right are met.

Where processing is based on our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO) in Poland: uodo.gov.pl, or with another competent supervisory authority in your country.

11. Website

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Skydrifters game and communications with its developer. Processing that occurs when you visit tailorsailor.com, including server logs, contact forms, cookies, and similar technologies, is subject to separate privacy information applicable to the website.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the game, the services we use, or applicable legal requirements. The current version will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.

Where a change materially affects how personal data is processed, we will provide additional notice where appropriate in light of the nature and significance of the change.
